14 DAY TRIAL // Infamous: Second Son, the upcoming open world action game from Sucker Punch and Sony for the PS4, will run at a full HD 1080p resolution and has a locked framerate of 30fps, according to one of its developers.
Infamous: Second Son is one of the biggest games from the second wave of exclusives for the PlayStation 4 and Sony confirmed its release date of March 21, 2014 with a stunning trailer earlier today.
Now, Sucker Punch Development Director Chris Zimmerman has confirmed during a video interview that Infamous: Second Son is running at a 1080p full HD resolution but that its framerate is locked at 30fps.
This lower framerate, however, gives the studio the ability to "throw tons of triangles, tons of pixels, tons of particles at the screen."
Expect to hear much more about Infamous: Second Son later this year and in early 2014. Until then, check out the video interview above.
