Infamous: Second Son day one patch, which is set to debut tomorrow alongside the actual game, will bring quite a few improvements but also a whopping 19 new side missions that tie into an ARG experience organized by developer Sucker Punch.

Infamous: Second Son makes its global debut tomorrow, March 21, for the PlayStation 4 platform, and developer Sucker Punch has already confirmed that it's going to debut a day-one update to fix issues spotted by the team after the game went gold and was sent to manufacturing.

According to Videogamer, this new patch, which weighs in at around 300MB, brings a variety of different improvements to the game's combat, difficulty, AI, or other such things.

More importantly, however, it also introduces a new series of missions called Paper Trail, which contains 19 different quests for players to explore.

The "innovative online and in-game story arc" sees Second Son owners explore the full story behind the occupation of Seattle by the DUP by completing the missions in game and by visiting different ARG websites online.

New content will be unlocked remotely in the next six weeks, so players have plenty of new adventures to look forward to besides the core story and side missions.

Besides these new things, the patch also enables the Cole's Legacy DLC, which is free for those who pre-order the game, while making key changes to boss fights, AI behavior, or the difficulty curve.
