Infamous: Second Son, the upcoming super hero action adventure title from Sucker Punch Productions for the PS4, will present players with tough choices that aren't necessarily good or bad and that won't be presented in an ambiguous way.

Infamous games have always prided themselves in the morality systems that gave the protagonist Cole MacGrath different powers depending on how good or evil his choices were.

In Infamous: Second Son, players will control Delsin Rowe, who needs to make a whole new series of choices after getting super powers.

"The choices you make along the way will not only impact Delsin’s story, but also the way that his powers mature and evolve, and the way other characters around you evolve and change. It’s very, very different. You’ve got to play the game twice to see it all," Sucker Punch's Nate Fox told VG247 about the new title.

What's more, these choices won't be presented in elusive or ambiguous ways, as the game will give players an idea about what consequences await them if they go on a certain path.

"We try and make it pretty clear when you’ve done something evil mainly because it really sucks when it’s nebulous. It’s not fun to feel like, 'Well I think I did the right thing in that videogame,' because there’s so much you have to understand about the rules of the world, your abilities, what the mission is asking you and all of that stuff," Fox added.

"We try to cut down on ambiguity as much as possible, but at the same time we try to put situations in front of the player that are frankly tough, because that’s what games are good for; they can transport you to places you’ve never been and let you do things you’ve never done before."

Besides having an impact on Delsin, player choices will also affect Reggie, his brother, who's a cop in Seattle, as well as the world around him.
