Infamous: First Light, the upcoming standalone expansion for Infamous: Second Son, is set to launch later today, August 26, and its PS Store listing has been updated with a hard drive space requirement of 8.7GB.

Infamous: Second Son launched for the PS4 platform this spring and delighted quite a lot of owners of Sony's new home console with stunning visuals, a pretty great story, and some fun open-world gameplay.

Instead of launching new DLC, developer Sucker Punch decided to go the route it already used with Infamous 2 on PS3 and launch a standalone expansion telling a side story from within the universe.

As such, Infamous: First Light is set to appear later today, August 26, for the PS4 platform.

The game, in case you forgot, focuses on Abigail "Fetch" Walker, a super-powered conduit that can wield the Neon ability. Throughout the story of the new adventure, players help Fetch escape the Curdon Cay prison and reach Seattle, where she'll eventually meet up with Second Son protagonist Delsin Rowe.

The game's PS Store listing has been updated ahead of launch with a file size mention, confirming that Infamous: First Light requires at least 8.7GB of free space on the PS4.

This isn't that much, although it's unclear just how long the new adventure will be.

Until its release later today, check out some screenshots below.
