The standalone expansion pack puts you in the role of Fetch, one of the conduits from the regular game, locked up in a prison for humans with super powers. She is forced to relive tragedies from her past and to unravel her dark secrets in Seattle, attempting escape Curdun Cay and seek vengeance against those who inflicted harm upon her.
Infamous: First Light is the first major expansion for Infamous: Second Son, and the developers say that they might make other such episodes, if it turns out to be something that people want.
Sony has announced the decision to offer the standalone expansion on disc via Twitter, posting an image of the box art and saying that the physical edition of the game is going to come out on September 10.
Infamous: First Light is scheduled to become available as a digital product on August 26, exclusively for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system.
