14 DAY TRIAL // Just as the standalone expansion for Infamous 2, Infamous: Festival of Blood, is released in North America and Europe, Sony and Sucker Punch have presented a special launch trailer showcasing the basic premise and some of the gameplay from the add-on.
Infamous 2 impressed through great gameplay and its complex user generated content features, but Festival of Blood allowed the team at Sucker Punch to go into a new direction, and depict some more outlandish adventures of protagonist Cole McGrath, as told by his longtime friend Zeke, who's trying to impress a girl with the story of Pyre Night.
In Festival of Blood, Cole is turned into a vampire of sorts, gaining new powers, including the ability to fly, and is faced with all sorts of new monsters, led by the vicious Bloody Mary.
The expansion is completely standalone, meaning you don't need to have the full Infamous 2 game to play it, and brings lots of new User Generated Content tools, which will soon appear for the standard title as well.
Infamous: Festival of Blood is already out on the PlayStation Store for $9.99/€9.99/£7.99.
