It can be directly controlled via a touchscreen interface

Consumer 3D printers may be cheap, but they are also a fair bit less precise than industrial equipment, in addition to having more limited material support the cheaper they get. The build volume is also an issue.

That's why we won't be too shocked if the new Q1000 industrial 3D printer from California-based Quant 3D turns out to have a price in excess of one or more thousand dollars/euro.

The product not only has a large build volume (350 x 350 x 240 mm / 13.78 x 13.78 x 9.44 inches) but also boasts two extruders instead of one.

It means that you can build items from two materials, and thus, two colors at once. It also means that you can use one extruder for a support scaffold and the other for the actual print job, allowing for a better final result (since the scaffold will easily be removed without marring the print itself).

The layer resolution is pretty normal, all things considered, at 100 microns.

Then there's the intuitive touch screen graphic user interface (GUI), which makes it possible to use the printer even if you don't have a PC connected to it. It has its own on-board PC, so to speak.

You can, in fact, even queue multiple user management and multiple print runs as well, plus use the on-board modeling software to set up supports and new models. 2kg filament cartridges in many colors and types complete the spec sheet.

That only leaves the integrated cameras which photograph the finished object or provide a live video feed of the process, depending on your needs.
