With the Consumer Electronics Show 2014 closing by, new data has emerged about Olympus' next OM-D digital camera that is rumored to be E-M5's successor.

It seems that Indonesian technology information agency ePostel, which is responsible for approving Wi-Fi capable devices before they reach the market, has listed a new Olympus camera model on its approved Wi-Fi device list.

This means that previous rumors about the E-M5 successor were true and the new E-M10 will indeed be announced in January 2014. As we previously reported, the E-M10 comes to replace the E-M5, although the latter will still be available for purchase possibly until Photokina 2014.

For the moment we know that the E-M10 will pack the same image processor as the E-M1, as well as the current E-M5 sensor. Autofocus and IBIS have also been improved for the new model, but a few features might be stripped from the camera to keep its price down.
