A couple from Muncie, Indiana have started off the annual Zombie Walk with their own, zombie-themed wedding.

The bride, groom, wedding party, and even the officiant of the nuptial came in proper Halloween attire and make-up imitating raccoon eyes and spilled blood and guts.

“Abby [Riggs, the bride] and I have been pretty much into the zombie thing for a while and when I said to her, ‘Let’s have a zombie wedding at the Zombie Walk,’ she agreed,” groom Thomas Ehmer describes.

Officiant Brian Blair also co-founded the Walk a year ago, to raise money for charity. He followed a model already in use in Fort Wayne.

This year, the event was used to raise funds for the Animal Rescue Fund and Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana, The Star Press writes.
