When it comes to themed restaurants, we've seen a lot of weird designs and locations, but this one is the creepiest of all. The New Lucky Restaurant allows diners to eat with the dead, as it was built around an old graveyard.

At this weird eatery located in Ahmadabad, India, you can enjoy your meal surrounded by real coffins in which lie the remains of real people.

The coffins are the vestiges of a Muslim cemetery that once occupied the same spot. Locals believe the remains belong to followers of a 16th-century Sufi saint buried nearby.

Inside the restaurant there are about a dozen graves sealed off by iron grills. Each morning, waiting staff clean the coffins and place fresh flowers on them.

Even more surprising is the fact that, despite its morbid interior, the restaurant has become very popular and attracts a lot of customers every day.

“The graveyard brings good luck. Our business has been flourishing because of these graves. It gives people a unique experience. We have maintained the graves as they were. Our customers don't seem to mind,” New Lucky's owner Krishan Kutti Nair said, according to the Mirror.

Although costumers don't seem to be bothered by the presence of the coffins, I must confess that this strange idea gives me shivers down my spine.
