A 58-year-old man from India holds the record title for longest mustache in the world, at an astounding 14 feet (4.3 meters).

Ram Singh Chauhan has been growing it for about 33 years. In fact, he never trimmed it since he started growing it. He first let it grow out when he was just a teenager, and it is his grand achievement.

“The mustache is the symbol of pride and respect. In ancient India, a moustache meant everything. It is priceless. It’s a man thing,” he explains.

He adds that it is common for men of the Rajput clan to grow their mustaches, thus being a proud representative of Movember.

According to the Mirror, his impressive facial hair has even earned him a part in a James Bond movie.

He has featured in Bollywood movies about six times. For the last 30 years, he has been a brand ambassador for the Rajasthan tourism department.
