There's a new MMORPG title coming up 'for sure' for the PC and 'not so sure,' but still possibly, for the Xbox 360. Mahabharata: The Dawn of Kaliyuga, is a game developed by Syncere Arts, whose thoughts on how a game should perform are quite sincere actually: "Syncere Arts was born out of a passion for two things: gaming technology and sharing the great stories of Indian culture with the world. As CEO of the company, Vaibhavi Pathak is working hard to bring the Indian war epic, Mahabharata, to the masses in a fun way that will ensure the great story lives on in future generations."

OK, now that we know what got you guys making games, let's see what your game is about. GameGuru sat down with the developing team who revealed important aspects regarding the game's porting on other consoles, why they chose to make it a MMORPG, and what gaming communities they're aiming for with MTDOK, concerning that India isn't exactly crazy about video games.

The team said that: "MTDOK is actually closer to a First Person Perceptive Action/Adventure game and might loosely be called an RPG also." They continued: "We are not interested in limiting the game to genre characteristics; it will be what it needs to be to get the story right. The emphasis is to stick faithfully to the story and spirit of the Mahabharata and ensure good game play."

And even if the name tends to be all Indian and stuff, the team assures that it is for everybody who can appreciate quality visuals and a great story-line, universally accessible. Sincere Arts stated that, although they have an Xbox 360 implementation in mind, they are currently focusing on releasing the game. Unfortunately, they don't say when that is.
