As Nadya Suleman is still working on ironing out all the details before starting to shoot for her own reality show, it seems curious audiences and supporters will get to have a look at what her life as a mother of 14 is before that: this Monday, actually. Fox has just bought a 2-hour special with Suleman and her children from RadarOnline, the celebrity e-zine that had a separate exclusivity deal with Nadya, and it plans to air it this Monday, the Huffington Post informs.

Radar had a deal with Suleman that had her speaking to the cameras on different aspects in her life, from her take on the Gosselins to how she planned to provide for her children’s future. Cameras were also allowed into her house and to follow her around, which makes of the footage thus shot an “incredible” insight into her life as a mother of 14 who, for all the world knows, is still unemployed. Suleman, says the aforementioned publication, was not involved in the negotiations but a “six-figure account” for her children has been set up as part of the deal.

“Footage of Suleman caring for her children was shot by RadarOnline, which struck its own deal with the mother for access. RadarOnline sold access to the footage to a production company, Pilgrim Films & Entertainment, for an undisclosed fee, and Pilgrim made the deal for the special with Fox.” Called “OctoMom: The Incredible Unseen Footage,” the 2-hour special will air on Fox on August 19.

Fox executive Mike Darnell insists that what makes this footage special and, in some ways, better than a reality show (which is still scripted, no matter how “real” it pretends to be) is the fact that it offers a genuine perspective on Suleman’s life since it was not shot by her with the intent of making money off it. Moreover, Darnell is certain that it will allow viewers to form their own opinion on OctoMom and who she really is, not biased in any way this time.

Craig Piligian, head of Pilgrim, is telling the media the footage is “really jaw-dropping in some moments, really compelling stuff,” as per the Huffington Post. Because of this, for providing a “look inside of Suleman’s life and her thoughts,” the show will air on Fox without a host or a narrator, as it is, the same publication informs.
