Cloud-based web security and performance services provider Incapsula has launched Login Protect, a new addition to the company’s security portfolio that allows customers to instantly enable two-factor authentication on their websites.

The best thing about Login Protect is that it doesn’t require application changes, coding, or the integration of third-party authentication services.

“Many website and applications that use Incapsula rely solely on passwords for authentication, but passwords alone have become ridiculously easy to circumvent,” said Gur Shatz, co-founder and CEO, Incapsula.

“Recognizing this, we set out to make this feature accessible to everyone, from website owners and administrators to Software as a Service (SaaS) providers. With Login Protect, it's easy to add a second factor of authentication to restricted website areas, internal applications, and development environments.”

Besides being easy to activate, Login Protect is also flexible, and offers centralized control over multiple logins, across several applications and websites.
