Jaime Griesemer, the lead designer working on InFamous: Second Son, has left the Washington-based Sucker Punch Productions earlier today.

For now, the reasons for his departure remain unknown, as he stated on Twitter that he doesn't want to talk about it for now, when confirming his departure to a fan.

This news comes as a big surprise, as InFamous: Second Son is just days away from its PlayStation 4 exclusive launch, and the former Lead Designer has not yet disclosed what his plans for the future are.

Griesemer previously worked as a game designer at Bungie for 12 years, working on Halo 3, Halo: Reach and Destiny, prior to joining Sucker Punch in 2011, in order to work as a boss designer on InFamous 2 and Festival of Blood, as well as the upcoming InFamous: Second Son.

All that is left is to keep our eyes open for future developments and to enjoy the action-packed gameplay and moral dilemmas of the forthcoming game, which manages to seamlessly blend the choices that players make with the actual gameplay.

InFamous: Second Son is currently scheduled for launch on March 21 exclusively on Sony's PlayStation 4 home entertainment system, providing the console's owners with an engaging open world experience.
