14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Sucker Punch and publisher Sony have announced during the E3 2014 press conference that they are set to launch a standalone piece of downloadable content for InFamous: Second Son, called First Light, at some point in the summer.
Fans of the title will be able to control Fetch, one of the companions from the core game, as she embarks on a series of adventures that seem to be connected with some events from her past.
Sucker Punch says that it will introduce additional content for those who already own Second Son and pick up First Light, although it did not clearly specify what it would consist of.
At the same time, those who get the standalone expansion will get to experience the core gameplay elements of the InFamous series and might then choose to also pick up the core game.
The new release will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4 from Sony.
It's unclear whether First Light will introduce all-new types of powers and what elements of the game world they might be linked to.
Sucker Punch is also rumored to be working on an entirely new title for the PlayStation 4 that will be revealed later in the year.
