Its frame is made of rods and the interior is all but exposed

Usually, PC cases like to keep the insides well sealed from the outside, save for the vents that take in and expel air, but that does not at all apply to the D-Frame mini from In Win.

Indeed, one might say In Win went the completely opposite way when it designed the thing.

The D-Frame Mini case, the latest version of its “iconic” D-Frame case, is almost completely exposed.

The side panels are closed, sure enough, but even they are made of transparent, smoked acrylic material. More importantly, the front and top follow no design conventions that I can see.

The main frame is made of black rods and looks like a scaffold, for the most part. Moreover, despite the solid form factor, the newcomer isn't made for any motherboard bigger than mini-ITX.

There's still space for a large, high-end PSU though, as well as liquid cooling and a bunch of storage devices (both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch).

The In Win D-Frame Mini chassis will be released over the next week or two, after it makes its debut at Computex 2014, taking place in Taipei, Taiwan from June 3 to June 7. Sadly, its price is not yet known, but have fun guessing.
