EA Mobile wants European gamers to have a hot spring and an even hotter summer this year, as the famous game developer has recently unveiled 5 of its new mobile titles set to captivate gamers of all ages and preferences.

The highlights of the new line-up are: BOOM BLOX, the first-ever mobile game designed by Steven Spielberg (yes, the Academy Award winner behind E.T., Jurassic Park, Saving Private Ryan and so on): and MONOPOLY: HERE&NOW, the first mobile game created by Electronic Arts in collaboration with Hasbro the original creators of the "real Monopoly".

"There is hardly anyone in the world who hasn't played Monopoly or seen a Spielberg movie", says Tim Harrison, European Marketing Director of EA Mobile, talking about the company's new titles. "MONOPOLY: HERE&NOW is the first title to come to market under our deal with Hasbro and the team has produced a fresh and highly polished game that will appeal to both veteran and new audiences. BOOM BLOX is an exciting prospect; to be releasing the first Spielberg designed video game on mobile is a huge coup."

Presented as a collection of "brain-twisting" puzzles, the Spielbergian BOOM BLOX features 40 levels that will require players to blast blocks,

ice-slide or bounce around, all during a gaming experience both fun and challenging. The new game also allows users to design their own levels and share them, online, with players from all around the world.

MONOPOLY: HERE&NOW is a modern edition of the popular board game said to be played until now (in real life) by more than 500 million people. The mobile game features "local" maps for 19 European countries, allowing players to sell and buy properties that are familiar to them. Furthermore, the game comes with simple-to-use controls and two playing modes (single or against friends) and it's capable of offering lots of fun moments.

The other three new games from EA are: UEFA Euro 2008 (featuring a revolutionary control system for a great mobile football experience), The Sims Pool 3D (8 or 9-ball 3D action with customizable Sims) and Puzzle Paradise (explore various territories in search of the Paradise island).

All the above mentioned games from the mobile division of Electronic Arts will be available across Europe by the end of May.
