World renowned security solutions provider Imperva has made available new variants for two of its products: SecureSphere Database Activity Monitoring and Scuba.

SecureSphere Database Activity Monitoring 9.5 is a solution designed to allow enterprises to secure and audit data warehouses – databases utilized for analysis and reporting – more efficiently.

Compared to previous versions, SecureSphere 9.5 comes with support for Oracle Exadata. It also extends support for Sybase IQ and Teradata Database.

SecureSphere 9.5 brings some features that simplify agent-based deployment on a large scale.

Scuba 2.0 on the other hand is a free tool that allows enterprises to scan databases and point out their security holes and configuration errors.

“Securing the information stored in Data Warehouses is essential because they integrate key business information from multiple sources,” Amichai Shulman, CTO of Imperva, explained.

“For organizations just getting started with database security, Scuba by Imperva is an excellent first step toward reducing database vulnerabilities.”
