Razer, one of world's leading vendors of high-end gaming peripherals, has been rather busy lately, as the company just announced its second gaming mouse this month. Following the Abyssus, introduced earlier in November, the new Imperator comes to provide PC gaming enthusiasts with a choice for a right-handed ergonomic mouse that has been crafted to ultimately enable the end-user to improve his gaming experience. According to Razer, the Imperator has been designed to enhance the aggressive mousing movements made by gamers.

“Ergonomics and control were the key objectives with this mouse” said Robert “Razerguy” Krakoff, president, Razer. “Your grip stays locked and planted no matter how often you lift and swipe your mouse while playing. One of the typical complaints of gamers is the difficulty in reaching the side or thumb buttons on a mouse. We have pioneered adjustable side buttons that slide and lock into your ideal thumb position. You just can’t get a more custom tailored fit than the Razer Imperator.”

The new gaming mouse has been designed with a couple of features, aimed specifically at improving the gaming experience for gaming enthusiasts. Some of these features include a 5600 dpi Razer Precision 3.5G laser sensor, adjustable side buttons, Ultraslick Teflon feet, seven independently programmable Hyperesponse buttons and Razer's Synapse on-board memory. The mouse measures approximately 123(L) x 71(W) x 42(H)

Designed specifically for gaming and gaming enthusiasts, the new Razer Imperator offers a number of features in an interesting design. The mouse has been optimized for right-handed users, thanks to its ergonomic design that should allow gamers to better adapt to its form. The Imperator will be available in stores starting December for a price tag of US$79.99, or €69.99 in Europe, but you can probably already order it now, from the company's website.
