A boxer dog called Fern became very impatient when its owners left it in the car and went to visit an art gallery in Broughty Ferry, in Scotland.

The 18-month-old dog was not pleased at all with the situation and decided to show its discontent after only five minutes of waiting time. It jumped into the driver's seat and begun pressing the horn. And it did that for no less than 15 minutes, much to the amusement of the passers-by.

Fern was filmed insistently pressing on the car's steering wheel to sound the horn, and the video was posted online. She is now becoming an Internet sensation, as the clip has already gathered more than 26,000 views.

Mr Haddow, the dog's owner, confessed he feared the worst when he returned to his car to find a crowd gathered around it.

“When I got closer, I realized people were pointing and laughing and taking pictures. She was sitting in there casually honking the horn. A young lad on a scooter told me he had been there from the beginning and it had been going on for 15 minutes, we had only been away for 20 minutes,” he said, cited by Metro.

Mr Haddow also said that Fern regularly hopped into the front seat when left alone in a car, but it had never used the horn before.
