Starring many well known names, albeit some of them are still to prove themselves to critics as actors and not just movie stars, “Immortals” tells the story of a mortal handpicked by the gods to lead an epic battle against King Hyperion.
He, the mortal, Theseus, is Henry Cavill, shown in the latest engaged in what looks like a fierce battle.
If his name rings a bell with moviegoers, it's because he'll also be seen (but at a much later date) in Zach Snyder's Superman film, “Man of Steel,” where he plays the lead.
Mickey Rourke will play the evil King Hyperion, and we're to expect an awesome performance from the seasoned actor as the man who aimed to destroy humanity.
“Immortals” also stars Freida Pinto, Kellan Lutz, Isabel Lucas, and Stephen Dorff. It's out on November 11, 2011.
