Owners of Android-based devices interested in taking advantage of a great photo sharing application can now download and install the official Imgur app, regardless of where they are.

The application was made available on Android in early April, but only for users in Australia at that time, although it did arrive in a few other markets as well soon after.

Today, the software is available for Android users all around the world, providing them with access to all of the Imgur features.

“Imgur (im-ij-er) is the go-to destination for viral images. Backed by a funny and friendly community, Imgur is the best place to spend your free time online and, now with the mobile app, on the go,” the company explains.

Imgur for Android enables users to browse photos, comment and vote, upload pictures from the handset, manage albums, and submit images directly to the Imgur gallery.

Imgur for Android beta is available on this page on Softpedia.
