Digicam Info often reveals information about upcoming photo and video capture devices, so it's not a shock to see Panasonic's Lumix DMC-GF6 surfacing there before anywhere else.
The Lumix DMC-GF6 is a fairly normal-looking thing, even though it has a completely white coloring, buttons included.
Only the inner section of the lens mount and the screen, of course, are not pristine.
The product uses a 16-megapixel image sensor, a low-light AF system, and the Venus image engine.
It also boasts a light sensitivity of up to 25,600 ISO, plus the ability to shoot photos in bursts of 4.2 fps. Video can be recorded at 1080-60i.
Then, there is the WiFi and NFC (near field communication), which tie the product into the outside world, even the Internet.
Panasonic will sell the newcomer for $680 (522-680 Euro) at some point in the near future.
