Marcello Barenghi specializes in drawings of commonplace objects

An illustrator draws a bag of chips in an amazing video going viral on YouTube now. Marcello Barenghi, of Italy, shows off his skills by creating an amazing hyperrealistic drawing of an empty bag of potato chips.

You could say that Barenghi is a mixed media, speed drawing expert, specializing in pop art. His other works include renditions of a Snickers chocolate bar, an Iron Maiden vinyl record and cover, and a can of Pepsi light. In his latest work, he recreates the Vedovella drinking fountain.

According to his website, MarcelloBarenghi.com,the 44-year-old artist is based in Milan. He has not only studied applied arts, but he also has a degree in architecture.

His “How I draw an empty potato chips bag” video was uploaded on October 1 and it has been watched over 80,000 times. The artist also has a Facebook following of 18,000 people.
