They use IPS technology and are sold under the ProLite brand

Three new monitors have been released by Iiyama, all of them featuring what essentially amounts to the best IPS technology.

Well, maybe not the best, but the one that does have the best price-quality ratio.

After all, it's pretty hard for IPS tech to reach a good response time, no matter how good the viewing angle, and the brightness isn't really great either, compared to less efficient TN.

Still, the 21.5 inch ProLite XU2290HS, 23 inch ProLite XU2390HS, and 27 inch ProLite XUB2790HS have managed a response time of 5 ms, contrast ratio of 1000:1 and brightness of 250 cd/m2.

VGA, HDMI and DVI ports are used to receive streams from PCs.

Also, the stand is adjustable, allowing you to light the screen to 130 mm / 5.11 inches if you wish, or pivot it for portrait view.

Prices haven't been announced yet, sadly, but retailers should reveal them soon enough. The Ultra Slim Bezel design will warrant a small premium over the usual LCD price at least.
