Iiyama may primarily be a maker of monitors, but it's dabbling in the desktop PC market too, as evident from the release of the GS5130-i7-SXRB.

The new computer is a surprisingly powerful mini-tower form factor system.

The Intel H87 Express Chipset supports a configuration composed of the 3.40 GHz Intel Core i7-4770 central processing unit and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Ti 2GB graphics card, plus an HDD (hard disk drive unit) of 500 GB and a DVD Super Multi Drive.

Everything runs on the energy provided by an 80 Plus certified power supply with an output of 700W.

Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit SP1 is installed on the computer, and the price is of around $1,361 / €993. A bit much, to be sure, but the Iiyama GS5130-i7-SXRB does possess a 120 GB SSD in addition tot eh hard drive, plus 8 GB DDR3 RAM.
