It’s not only laptops coming from brand vendors that are being bundled with NVIDIA’s latest GPU architecture. It’s also the case of the Iiyama’s new 15.6-inch notebook.

Introducing the next 15X8100-i7-ZEB, which doesn't bear the most attractive name, but if you take a look at the specifications list, you will probably be pleasantly impressed with what lies under the bonnet and not only.

The laptop arrives with a 15.6-inch screen that offers a beautiful 1920 x 1080 full HD display. Under the hood lies an Intel 2.40GHz Intel Core i7-4700MQ processor, an Intel HM87 Express Chipset and NVIDIA’s latest GeForce GTX 880M 8GB graphics card, which is a high-end option based on Kepler architecture that has been overclocked.

Apart from increased graphics capabilities, the implementation of the new chip will produce an important by-product, power-efficiency. This happens to be part of the new feature called Battery Boost, which can adapt the GPU settings based on the game’s specific requirements.

The laptop is also fitted with 8GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB hard drive, a DVD Super Multi Drive, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 + LE and runs on Windows 8.1 64-bit OS.

Given the features outlines above, don’t expect the product to sell for a cheap price-tag. The Iiyama new notebook will set you back with as much as $2,088 / €1,509.
