Ignite Will be Ported to Linux

Ignite, a racing game that tries to do something different from other titles out there, will come to Linux, despite some rumors of its demise.

Every race is different in Ignite. Each race brings something new as players try to win by using their own tactics. The score system in Ignite allows for tactics to be used during a race.

Gathering score allows the use of nitro in the race and converts to time bonus at the end. Ignite is a simple concept and quite fun by the looks of it.

The developers from Nemesys Games have confirmed for gamingonlinux.com that the Ignite game will be ported to Linux, but they couldn't say when is going to be available.

One of the reasons for the delay is because they are a small team and the work is being done in their free time between projects.

If Ignite reaches the Linux platform it will definitely be the best looking racing game!
