14 DAY TRIAL // Iggy Azalea is under a lot of stress at the moment due to her presumed husband who is filing for divorce and claiming that half of her fortune is his. But that doesn't give her the right to lash out at the paparazzi, who, admittedly, sometimes get out of line when confronting celebrities.
The Australian rapper with an American accent was caught on camera losing her cool last week when she went out shopping at a grocery store and she was confronted by the paparazzi. The usually calm Iggy went ballistic when one of the paparazzi followed her inside the grocery store and became “aggressive,” according to her own account.
Iggy and her assistant got violent with the paparazzi, began shouting obscenities
Entertainmentwise claims that the “Fancy” rapper's assistant was heard yelling expletives at the paparazzo in question and that the others bunched up around her to film the account. “I don’t want to be followed, she doesn’t want to be followed. Just because she’s a celebrity doesn’t mean you have the right to follow her,” Iggy's assistant says in the video.
The matter quickly degenerates as one paparazzo accuses the assistant of assault, “I assaulted him? I [expletive] spit on him,” to which the pap replies, “Yeah, that’s assault.”
Soon, Iggy too joins in the hostilities, seemingly pushing her trolley into another man and shouting at him, “I hope you have Ebola, I hope you [expletive] die.” She then tries to hit the pap with her trolley several times as he takes evasive actions warning the others around him “she's gonna hit me!”
Iggy was upset one of the paparazzi followed her inside the grocery store
The rapper made a point out of telling the offending photographer where he'd gone wrong. Apparently, Iggy was upset that the photographer went in after her in the store and snapped pictures as she was buying some eggs. She threatened him that the next time she would run into him, she was going to have protection and she was going to “do something” to deal with him.
This is one of the most violent outbursts from the singer in the last months and might have to do with her legal troubles resulting from the fact that one of her former boyfriends, Hefe Wine, is now taking her to court claiming that they were in a common law marriage and that he wants a divorce, as well as half of her multimillion dollar fortune.
The man is also suspected to be behind the leaking of her raunchy tape, which was taken when the couple was still together. It seems that Iggy's resounding success in the past year has attracted some unwanted attention.
