The video is worth millions if Iggy decides to release it

The internet is abuzz today with rumors about a possible raunchy tape starring rapper Iggy Azalea and her former boyfriend. The tape, if proven real, stands to be worth millions of dollars and experts in such recordings speculate that it could fetch more than the famous Kim Kardashian lewd tape.

TMZ reports that the tape has been offered to Vivid, the large adult entertainment website that handles celebrity leaked video and the one that's still reaping the rewards for the Kim Kardashian clip, of course, while still giving her her cut of the money (we hear it's still a couple of hundreds of thousands of dollars per year).

The tape is real, according to Steve Hirsch from Vivid Entertainment

Steven Hirsch, the head of Vivid Entertainment, confirms the existence of the tape and he claims that he has already contacted Iggy's camp in order to reach a settlement that would allow him to release it on his website. He seems to think that the tape has the potential to be bigger than Kim's tape in terms of revenue.

He also claims that the footage shows Iggy in her earlier years, with an ex-boyfriend whose face appears at time on camera. Iggy, however, would beg to differ. She contacted Vivid and told them that the tape featured another girl, certainly not her, and that the resemblance, while uncanny, was just accidental.

Iggy's camp says it's just a girl that looks like her, threatens to sue

To up the ante, the singer's camp has not only not signed off on the recording, approving its release, but they also threatened to sue Vivid Entertainment for making raunchy tape claims about Iggy. That extra step does seem a little bit odd, since if the tape weren't real, Iggy would have no reason to file a lawsuit. Now, if the tape is real, she has a lot of interest in making sure that tape doesn't leak on the internet.

Iggy, the 24-year-old rapper from Australia who fakes an American accent in her songs, is very popular at the moment, appearing in many collaborations with big names in the industry and chart-topping songs.

Iggy decides not to sign off on the tape, banning its publication thus losing millions

Hirsh claims that he was surprised about Iggy's decision not to release the material, since it could be an easy source of income for her, guaranteeing that she will be receiving money in her mailbox for many years to come.

Ray J, Kim's partner in the tape, is still living off those checks. Just to spite Kim, he even offered his share as a wedding gift at Kim and Kanye's wedding, which is probably why he never got invited. That, and doing the nasty with Kim.
