Dutch designer Martin Hajek creates stunningly realistic iWatch concept

2014 has kicked off to a modest amount of leaks and futuristic concepts, but the talented Martin Hajek wants to make sure we’re not getting bored as we wait for Apple to lift the cloth off one of its most anticipated products, the iWatch.

A hybrid wearable computer borrowing key features from all the devices we stuff in our pockets and bags, the elusive iWatch is starting to sound more and more like a reality these days.

Apple is said to be preparing an unveiling later this year, and with images like these flying around, we can’t help but hope it turns out exactly like this.

“Nobody knows what the iWatch will look like, not even the infamous Sonny Dickson has leaked any parts yet everyone knows about the production problems which Apple purportedly is facing,” writes Martin Hajek.

“All I do know for sure is that I had little problems visualizing the iWatch[C] and iWatch[S] on a wrist,” he adds.

From where we’re standing, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with these pictures.

The Dutch designer has always been on par with his 3D drawings, not to mention the amount of realism he puts into these mockups. For all we know, we could be looking at the unreleased Apple iWatch right here.

The iWatch is expected to be the first truly relevant wearable computer, as most vendors seem to be missing the point.

For one thing, none of the smartwatches currently in circulation have an attractive design. With Jony Ive on its team, Apple shouldn’t have a problem in this department.

Plus (we’ve said this before, and we’re saying it again), the Cupertino giant could probably hire Hajek as an intern to see what he’s capable of doing when he’s on a payroll. Just a thought.
