If you are among those who believe that in the world of MP3 players pretty much everything has already been said, you'd better change your point of view, because we're about to introduce to you one of the most fluid and amazing concepts for the fourth quarter of the year: the Digit MP3from Nuno Teixeira, a music machine that comes with both style and attitude, boasting freedom to the max and posing real threats to anything we used to call "nifty" until now.

Indeed, we're talking about a virtual threat, since the Digit MP3 is still in its project phase and with nothing 100% certain about its future.

Yet, we here are all hoping that this project turns into a real object because it will really shake the foundations of the industry, at least in terms of what "sleek" really means. The Digit MP3 is a slim and shiny player with a candybar form factor and with a smooth surface boasting large and very intuitive controls. Thanks to its reduced height, such a device could go even easier in your pockets and in pretty much any narrow space in your clothes, with no bulky protuberance sticking out of your jeans or so.

The rounded and most fluid shapes of the Digit MP3 would also make a great fashion accessory for those who are looking for more than functionality and sound in their music players. Another great thing, at least on the appearance side, is the fact that the headphones are wireless; they look like miniature cell headsets yet sport the same stylish design like the player itself and with the same glossy, alluring look.

Digit MP3 should come with a generous 20GB storage and full-color display, in several trim versions. If this player from the Portuguese designer becomes reality, a lot of other fancy gadgets out there will have a serious problem. Kudos to Nuno for this exquisite design.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is .
