Apple has launched a thoughtful campaign that promotes games similar to Minecraft - Pocket Edition, one of the most popular (top grossing) games on the iTunes Store.

The campaign, dubbed “If You Like…” appears to be the first of a weekly / monthly series that Apple will use to promote apps that may pique your interest based on the popularity of a similar app.

In this respect, games that Minecraft fans might like (in Apple’s opinion) include Block Fortress, The Blockheads, Junk Hack, Eden - World Builder, and the Sandbox.

Most of the games are paid, but two of them are free – Blockheads and Sandbox. The former is a 3D take at Minecraft which, surprisingly, doesn’t upset Mojang (the creators of the popular building/crafting puzzler), and the latter is a God game of sorts which lets you create your own universe, complete with amazing pixel art.
