It has 4 interchangeable color plates and better overall performance than its predecessors

Swiftech may not have a water block for AMD's latest dual-GPU graphics card available (Radeon R9 2905 X2), unlike Aqua Computer, but it did launch one for CPUs.

Well, technically, it's made for both CPUs (central processing units) and APUs (accelerated processing units).

Which means that, yes, the board does support processors from both Intel and Advanced Micro Devices.

The new water block is called Apogee XL and has such broad support because it ships with installation hardware for both types of units.

The newcomer even has four interchangeable color plates (lets modders match the lighting to whatever other fans and lights they have in their PCs).

If you have an older computer or a big bad workstation, you're in luck: even Intel LGA 775 and 1366 sockets are supported.

The Swiftech Apogee XL cooler has a price of $65, give or take a few cents. That can mean anything from €47 to $65, depending on whether or not exchange rates have any effect on the pricing scheme in Europe (which is less than likely, alas).

You will, of course, need to actually have a water cooling system already installed in your computer if this new product is to be of any use.
