If you have been expecting a classic tower-defense map where you just defend against incoming waves of creeps, you are in the wrong place. This is a custom TD map that has rules quite different from what we have seen before.
A great thing about this map is the introduction scene. Watching it, every new player can get an idea about this map and the things they need to do in order to stop all the creeps from reaching the Ship. One can skip this scene by using the up-arrow key.
At the beginning of the game, you will be asked to select your difficulty. This can be:
- Normal: hitpoints 100%,
move speed 100%, armor 0;
- Hard: hitpoints 110%, move speed 110%, armor +1;
- Extreme: hitpoints 120%, move speed 120%, armor +2.
This is a 3-Player Team Survival Tower Defense. The main goal of the game is to survive 45 waves by using 24 different towers, each having three upgrades. The creeps will spawn at the top of the map and they will try to escape at its bottom by reaching the Ship.
Every player will control a builder that is able to switch to another two: Gargoyle, Witch and UndeadMage. This switch between builders has a certain cooldown. All towers lose mana and hp over time, therefore you will have to build repair towers and mana ones. Be careful, because, when a tower runs out of mana, it will automatically be sold.
Many towers use trigger-based abilities. The goal of the map is to create a strategy with the given towers. Only when you will put them together will you be able to exploit them at their full potential.
Gold is shared evenly among all players. A bounty is given every minute to every player, and it's calculated after this formula: ((lives+lives+100)/3)x wave. If a player leaves, their gold will be shared between the remaining gamers. In addition to your towers, you can buy spells and boosts at the necropolis in order to defeat your enemies.
This map is not like the other TD, where your job is to defend your area from other players or creeps, it's more like supporting each other and working as a team in order to fill the possible leaks for as long as possible.
