Supermodel Naomi Campbell was arrested again in London for an alleged assault on a woman who is supposed to be none other than her personal drug counselor. Although the police spokesperson refused to reveal the identity of the person arrested and taken to the station (as is customary in such situations), Naomi's publicist confirmed that it was her but cited a terrible 'misunderstanding' as the cause.
This is just one of the many instances in which the model is accused of displaying a hot temper and a tendency to get physical any time it suits her fancy. A couple of law suits are ongoing as we speak, with former personal assistants of the model claiming they have been hit and 'terrorized' during their stay with her.
Late last night, a woman came into the police station with scratches all over her face, saying that she had been assaulted by another woman. When police officers attended the address she gave them, they found another woman, allegedly Campbell, and took her to the station. She was released on bail this morning but, until the investigation is final, no charges will be filed against the catwalk queen.
'Earlier this afternoon a woman attended a central London police station and alleged an assault on her at an address in Westminster. Officers attended the address and a woman, aged 36, was arrested at around 1:20 pm (1220 GMT) for an alleged assault. She was taken to a central London police station.', the statement from the police said.
Naomi's publicist answered questions from the media by claiming that it was just a 'misunderstanding'. 'We are sure it will all be sorted out when the police investigate', he added.
