Idina Menzel is world famous at the moment for two reasons: for the fact that she sang the most successful song in an animation in 2013 (“Frozen's” “Let It Be”) and because John Travolta hilariously botched up pronouncing her name during the Academy Awards at the beginning of the year.

The singer is still reaping the results of her success, but she's doing it where she has the best results: on the Broadway stage. This is where she almost suffered a wardrobe malfunction in the middle of performing “Take Me or Leave Me,” that was part of her musical “If/Then,” which was being played at the Radio City Music Hall.

The event that happened on June 16 was captured on video, presumably by a member of the audience on his cellphone, judging by the quality of the recording, but it just goes to prove that Idina is one hell of a professional and she's used to improvising on stage.

Instead of panicking that her dress was coming undone, the singer simply smiled and was able to make jokes about it, creating a funny moment for audiences who applauded her impromptu performance. It all began as Idina was busy belting some of the higher notes.

As she struggled and wriggled on stage, the top she was wearing, which was separate from her dress, began to ride up, coming dangerously close to revealing her bosom. One eagle-eyed audience member, spotted the hazard early on and attracted her attention.

The singer noticed the signs and casually asked “What? My boob's coming out?” Soon after, a stage member rushed to where she was and began fixing her attire, turning the singer with her back to the audience.

As all of this was going on, Idina continued to joke. “These divas need their stage!” she said, referring to her ample cleavage. She also noted that, “Oh, that's going to be all over television,” well aware of the nature of her success.

Proving her cheeky nature, the singer concluded with a joke that hit home with many in the audience, who immediately started clapping in amusement: “Well, [expletive] it! They're real,” she exclaimed, taking care to remind folks that she was proud of her unaltered body, something decreasingly frequent in today's showbiz world.

Caution: The video below, while funny, does contain some strong language, as Idina couldn't resist throwing in some colorful remarks about the incident that nearly left her exposed. Viewer discretion is advised.
