Zendee Rose becomes latest viral star after covering Whitney Houston in a supermarket

Fame is a YouTube video away these days. The latest viral sensation is a mysterious, “random” girl who covered Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” on a karaoke machine in a supermarket. She’s not so mysterious anymore because she has been identified.

According to reports online, the girl (whose more recent performance you can see in the first video available below) is actually a more or less seasoned singer. Sorry if you thought she was just a random girl picking up the mic for the first time in public.

On that note, yes, she’s pulled this kind of stunt before, this is not her first time.

Her name is Zendee Rose, and she was once a contestant on The X Factor in the Philippines. Oddly enough, even though she has a very good voice and stage presence, she did not make it into the boot camp stage.

Then again, The X Factor isn’t looking only at people with good singing voices: they also have to have the star quality and proper support from the judges to move forward in the competition.

Zendee must have been wanting in some department or another if she didn't make it through, but one thing is clear: she deserves a proper chance.

Below is an older performance from the same aspiring singer. She sounds just as impressive as in the latest viral video, but surprisingly, she’s still not signed (most likely).
