14 DAY TRIAL // Earlier this week, Jessica Simpson’s parents announced their decision to divorce, saying the reason they would be ending their 34-year marriage had nothing to do with ongoing rumors, rumors saying that Joe was a closeted gay.
Radar Online claims to have it on good authority that this is actually the truth.
As we also reported at the time, word had it that Joe broke the news to the family and Tina immediately filed for divorce.
There was some talk about how Joe had already found someone else – a younger guy, it was said – but, since no one knew who he was, it was impossible to doubt Joe’s rep in saying reports on him being gay were false.
Radar has learned the identity of the gay lover, together with plenty of details on an affair that is believed to have lasted at least a year.
“A young, aspiring male model has been boasting that he has been having an affair with Jessica Simpson's father, Joe, for the past year. Fresh-faced Bryce Chandler Hill, 21, has been bragging about dating 54-year-old Joe on/off for around a year and has recounted torrid details of their alleged trysts to various friends around West Hollywood,” Radar writes.

“A source close to the situation tells Radar exclusively that Bryce met Joe Simpson through a mutual friend, who is very close to Joe's daughters, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson,” says the same media outlet.
The worst part is that Hill is not even with Joe because he really loves him, but rather because he believes papa Joe, as Mr. Simpson is dubbed in the press, can get him the exposure he needs to become a star.
In other words, he’s using him for fame and money.
The same report also argues that Jessica Simpson, Joe and Tina’s eldest daughter, is having a very hard time coping with the divorce because she simply can’t believe her dad would hide something like this from her – like the fact that he’s gay – for so many years.
