Identity Safe component, available in Norton Internet Security or Norton 360, has just been launched as a standalone solution for keeping your passwords safe and filling log-in forms automatically. The current release is a public beta, so some glitches may occur while using it. It is cloud-based, which means that your credentials are saved online, and it is available across multiple platforms and browsers.
Supported operating systems include Android, iOS and Windows. As for the browsers, Norton Identity Safe can be used with Internet Explorer, Opera, Google Chrome and Safari. This means that you can keep information synchronized across browsers and mobile devices.
Also included in the product is Norton Safe Protection, which helps you identify malicious websites.
Norton Identity Safe attaches to the browser as a toolbar, providing easy access to your credentials or security-related information about the current website.
