Ideazon's latest creation, the Reaper Edge, comes one year after the company joined the gaming peripherals creators' world. The mouse comes with all the features a respectable gaming mouse should have, plus some more innovation from the manufacturer.

The Edge is undoubtedly, a fast mouse. The 3200dpi laser sensor makes sure you move your mouse fast enough during the gameplay. Should this be too much for your casual, day-by-day applications, the manufacturer has built-in a DPI switch button that lets you instantly select the desired laser resolution.

Another important aspect of the gaming hardware is ergonomics. A mouse that feels uncomfortable or, worse, makes the hand lean in an unnatural position is doomed to trashing, no matter how many technological features it has built-in. The Reaper Edge feels more comfortable if used by a right-handed person, because of its left-to-right curved design. Thumb buttons are also located on the inner, left part of the mouse, so it must be a real pain for the lefties.

The mouse is pretty large, which allows the user to take a healthy grip on it with the full palm, while at the same time maintaining precise control of the finger and thumb buttons. The Edge is 12.5 cm long and about 4 centimeters tall, which should make it pretty comfortable for an adult. In fact, its design is strikingly similar to that of Logitec's G7 gaming mouse.

The mouse has a crocodile skin-like finish, with a glossy strip that ranges from the scroll wheel to Ideazon's name and logo. The scroll wheel is covered in rubber with a tire pattern to enhance grip and give the tactile feedback.

Underneath the "creature" there are four little Teflon pads to enhance slipping on any surface. Unlike other gaming mice designs, the Edge does not allow swapping out the pads and lacks the weigh customization compartment.
