Indian carrier Idea Cellular has just released a new affordable Android smartphone, the Aurus 2. This is a dual-SIM device that includes 3G connectivity and a 1GHz single-core processor.

Idea Aurus 2 is now available for purchase via Indian major retailers across the country for only Rs 6,490 ($120 / €90).

According to AndroidOS, customers who purchase the smartphone will also receive 1.6 GB of 3G mobile data and Idea TV subscription free for the first 3 months for just Rs 261 ($5/ €4).

The Aurus 2 will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and sports a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display.

It also packs a 3.2-megapixel camera, a secondary VGA camera, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
