The ice cream is nondairy, the Ice Queen insists “there’s snow better time to try vegan”

Heat waves and loads of ice cream go hand in hand. PETA is well aware of this, and has decided to take advantage of the high temperatures currently recorded across the US to convince some people to give veganism a try.

The organization has sent its very own “Ice Queen,” pictured above, to Burlington, and has entrusted her with one very important mission: hand out free nondairy ice cream to the people she meets on the street.

“There's snow better time to try vegan,” the PETA beauty and other members of the organization believe.

PETA thinks that, besides proving that they care about the animals abused by the dairy industry, people who opt for vegan treats are healthier than those who don't.

“With a heat wave sweeping the nation, Burlington got a treat today when PETA's "Ice Queen" handed out free nondairy ice cream to help residents beat the heat as well as three of our nation's biggest killers: heart disease, cancer and strokes,” the organization writes on its website.
