The next flavor of Android should become official in a matter of days, and some more info on what it might include when made available have just started to emerge.

Apparently, the new platform release is expected to hit devices with a brand new Chrome browser inside, just as reported earlier today, as well as with a photo editor for the Android Gallery.

Nothing has been confirmed on the matter for the time being, but the icons that are related to the said tool were discovered in a leaked Ice Cream Sandwich build.

The guys over at Android Police are certain that the new feature has been included in the new OS flavor, though they can not guarantee that it will actually make it on the new devices based on Ice Cream Sandwich.

At the same time, they also notes that the tool or its icons might not be final, and that Google could still have some work to do on them.

If so, then we might see the photo editor packed on one of the future updates that the company will push out of its labs for Ice Cream Sandwich.

The icons found in ICS were transparent or white, and the guys at Android Police added the black background, so that we could have a look at them.

When the application will be released, chances are that the icons will look completely different, and that they will be also colored, and not made available only in two shades.

All these are said to have been included in the Gallery.APK in Ice Cream Sandwich, but that they won't work with older flavors of Android.

There are also a series of effects that the new editing tool will offer, all listed on the said news site. As stated above, there is no telling on whether the new Android OS flavor will pack this feature right from the start but it should prove a great addition to it if it does.
