When the next flavor of Android becomes available on the market, users will benefit from a new Android Market client on their devices, which has just leaked into the wild.

The mobile client has been extracted from the Ice Cream Sandwich platform found on the Nexus Prime, it seems, and has already been made available for download for those who would like to give it a try.

According to the guys over at Droid-life, users will be able to download the new .apk and even try to install it on their devices on top of the existing client, though there is no guarantee that this will actually work.

If it doesn't, the device will have to be rooted for the new Android Market to be installed. To get the client up and running on a current Android handset, users will need to be doing the following:

- Download the Phonesky.apk file to the SD card (the download link can be found on Droid-life) - In Root Explorer, find the file you just downloaded and copy it. - Move into /system/app and hit the R/W button to mount – then paste the file. - Find Vending.apk and rename it to something like Vending.apk1. - Long press on Phonesky.apk and rename it to Vending.apk. - Afterwards, long press on it again and choose “Permissions.” - Change the permissions as in the screenshot to the left. - Press “OK”, reboot and enjoy the new market.

As stated above, the new Android Market, featuring version 3.2.0, is said to have been extracted from the Nexus Prime's Ice Cream Sandwich OS, the same as it happened with the Google Music 4.0.1 client, or with the Google Plus 2.0 application.

However, we should also note that the guys over at mydroidworld have also managed to come up with what they claim to be the audio files from Nexus Prime, as well as with the entire set of wallpapers that the new device will include when made available for purchase.
