Beside 3G / 4G data, all appears to be working well

Motorola’s DROID Bionic handset is the latest Android device from the handset vendor to get a taste of the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

An unofficial build is now available for its users, a few months ahead of the official release promised by Motorola not too long ago. The Android 4.0 port arrives courtesy of CyanogenMod 9, which is currently only in its early stages of development.

Apparently, the handset is offering good performance under the new build, though there still are various issues that need being addressed. 3G/4G data is not working at the moment, for example.

Other than that, things look encouraging: touchscreen is responsive, Bluetooth, microSD, audio, and GPS are working, graphics are said to be smooth, and the charging indicator works as well.

You can learn some more info on the build and on how the development process is moving forward in this thread on Droid Forums.
