14 DAY TRIAL // Since word first got out that E.L. James had sold the rights to the “Fifty Shades of Grey” and that a movie would be coming ASAP, there’s been a lot of talk about who might end up playing the two leads.
Anonymous recently confirmed that, at least at one point, Emma Watson was in negotiations for Anastasia Steele, but no word yet on who would play the man himself, Christian Grey.
Ian Somerhalder said on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live that he’d totally be game if they wanted him for the part.
“There are so many young boys up for this role. I can’t say anything other than it’s a very interesting story,” he said.
Coincidence or not, but Ian is considered a frontrunner for the part, and has been so since day 1. Could this be his (indirect) way of letting fans that he’s in talks with the producers to make it happen?
I could see him as Christian Grey and no, it’s not just because of his gorgeous eyes. However, I can’t say the same for Emma as Anastasia.
