Ian Somerhalder Receives Honors for His Environmental Contributions

This past weekend, the Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California housed the 2012 Environmental Media Awards ceremony.

During this event, both Ian Somerhalder and Jessica Alba were honored for their green-oriented behavior and for doing their best in supporting and promoting environmental protection.

As we previously reported, Jessica Alba is a firm believer in making healthy choices in terms of diet, which is why she is constantly trying to convince people that organic, nutritious products are well within reach even if one does not have a lot of money.

On the other hand, Ian Somerhalder struggled long and hard in order to set the basis for an animal sanctuary, and his foundation, launched back in 2010, is intended to educate people with respect to environmental protection and safeguarding biodiversity.
