IT Camp is an extremely interesting initiative for IT professionals and developers leveraging Microsoft technologies.

Now in its first year, the IT Camp conference is just a couple of weeks away, so this is something of a last call for IT pros and devs interested in participating.

Scheduled to take place between May 26 and 27, 2011 in Cluj-Napoca Romania, the event seeks to attract not only a local audience, but also participants from Central and Eastern Europe, and beyond.

Those interested in attending should have a look at the agenda and list of speakers that organizers already made public, and register as soon as possible.

Here are some topics that speakers will focus on, according to information supplied through the IT Camp’s official site:

“We will be discussing general interest topics such as Private Cloud, security, Windows Azure, RIA using MVC and Ajax, System Center, SQL Server, Dependency Injection in ASP.NET MVC 3, Exchange High Availability, ASP.NET and PHP apps on IIS, Workflow Services in Windows Azure, SharePoint Server support for ISO and COBIT certifications, WCF and REST in the Cloud and more.”

The promise is that the vast majority of sessions both for IT professionals and for developers will have bilingual presentations, including in English, so participants need not worry if they don’t speak Romanian.

IT pros and devs can follow IT Camp on Twitter or on Facebook, or both, and the following email address was also made available for those requiring additional information: contact at itcamp.ro.

Keep your eyes on Softpedia because we’ll publish an interview in the following days to deliver additional insight into “version 2011” of IT Camp, as well as into what participants can expect, and evolution plans for the conference in the future.

Ciprian Jichici, Microsoft Regional Director, SQL MVP; Tudor Galoș, Windows Business Group Lead, Sebastian Vîjeu, IT Evangelist and Petru Jucovschi, Developer Evangelist are some of the great people that will host sessions at this year’s IT Camp.
